Man With Hunting Rifle Drunk in Dayville and Causes Disturbance

On 06/09/2017 at approximately 9:09pm Trooper Cash and Trooper Kane responded to 65 Country Club Road in Dayville to investigate the report of an active disturbance. Upon arrival Troopers were approached by various individuals who seemed emotionally concerned for their well being and safety. They described an intoxicated neighbor was walking around with a hunting rifle while attempting to start a fight with others. After securing the reporting parties for their safety, the Troopers located the individual causing the disturbance and identified him as 34 year old Eric RAINVILLE. RAINVILLE was found to be highly intoxicated and uncooperative. The reported hunting rifle was found in RAINVILLE’s possession and was confirmed to be a BB Gun. RAINVILLE was reported to have been using this BB Gun while threatening harm to others.
RAINVILLE was processed, fingerprinted, and photographed according to department policy and procedure. He was charged with Threatening in the First Degree, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon; and Breach of Peace. RAINVILLE was held on a $20,000.00 cash or surety bond, set by the duty supervisor, and he is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on June 23, 2017.
