Man Violates Protective Order in Plainfield Business, Found Hiding in Swamp

On November 7, 2019 at approximately 12:39 A.M., the Plainfield Police Department arrested James Warner, 36, formerly of Moosup, Connecticut.

Members of the Plainfield Police Department responded to the Music Lady Café located at 6 Green Hollow Road in Central Village, Connecticut, after dispatch received a 911 call from an employee stating Warner was causing a disturbance and violating a full no contact protective order with a fellow patron.

An Officer arrived on scene and upon approaching Warner he refused to identify himself and fled on foot up Green Hollow Road into the nearby woods.

A second Officer in the area later observed Warner who he recognized from prior police interaction run behind the Knights Inn located at 66 East Main Street in Central Village. The Officer gave chase and located Warner attempting to hide in the thick vegetation of a swamp.

Warner was placed under arrest and transported back to the Plainfield Police Department where he was charged with Violation of Protective Order, Interfering with an Officer and Disorderly Conduct. Warner was held on a $10,000.00 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Danielson Superior Court, G.A. 11, on November 7, 2019.
