Man Found Dead In Plainfield Convenience Store Parking Lot

On October 30, 2019, at approximately 7:48 P.M., the Plainfield Police Department received a call from a customer at the Sam’s Food Mart located at 518 Norwich Road, Plainfield, Connecticut, of an unconscious male who had been inside of his vehicle for an unknown amount of time. The Plainfield Police Department along with members of the Plainfield Fire Department and American Legion Ambulance responded to the scene where it was determined that a local  white male of 60 years of age was discovered to be unconscious and unresponsive. Medical personnel conducted CPR with negative results. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office was contacted, a Medical Examiner Investigator responded to the scene, and an autopsy will be conducted.
