Ledyard Police: Man Arrested On Multiple Charges Including Possession of Crack

The Ledyard Police Department patrol division was patrolling the area of Center Groton Road, when a 2005 GMC traveling southbound with an expired registration plate was seen. While attempting to stop the vehicle, the vehicle pulled into a private residence, making it seem that it was his residence. The accused, 38 year old Ismael Rodriguez, was discovered to have his operator license suspended and was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. Rodriguez was also found to be wanted on a non-extraditable warrant out of Pennsylvania. The accused was arrested without incident and transported to the Ledyard Police Department. The accused was processed on charges such as Operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating under suspension, failure to change address, possession of a controlled substance, and simple trespass charges and held on a $5000 cash bond to appear at New London Superior Court on 04/17/2019.
