The Governors of Connecticut and Rhode Island, Ned Lamont and Gina Raimondo have changed their minds when it comes to hair salons and barbershops opening in the first phase starting Wednesday,May 20th.  Lamont stated on his twitter account “We’ve been hearing a lot of feedback at this time and I think the best approach is that we hit pause on the reopening of hair salons and barbershops, take a step back, and allow some more time as preparations continue to be made.

Most of the feedback came from Salon Owners themselves.

As far as I’m concerned this man cannot make a decision on his own. He plays follow the leader with New York and Rhode Island. If these people in the Hartford area aren’t ready then let them stay closed, but you can’t stop those that are prepared and ready to follow the leader and stay closed.. This is just a ploy to make our great president look’s’s time to get this economy moving again.stop hiding under a rock and do what’s right for everyone
