Known Northeastern Connecticut “Drug Runner” arrested for Narcotics Possession

BOND: $10,000 cash/surety COURT DATE: 11/09/2016 On 10/24/2016 at approximately 6:35 pm, members of the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force were conducting surveillance in an unmarked vehicle in the parking lot of Sherwood’s Bar and Grill located at #35 Route 171 in the Town of Woodstock after receiving complaints of narcotic activity occurring in the parking lot. While in the parking lot they observed Seth Daley, DOB: 01/22/96, of 77 Chapman Street Putnam, CT approaching vehicles. That detectives assigned to the QLTF know Daley through previous police involvement as a “drug runner” for a local heroin dealer. Troopers approached Daley and during conversation, Daley admitted to having heroin in his possession. Numerous bags of heroin pre-packaged for sale was then seized from his pants pocket. Daley was then taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop D in Danielson where he was processed and charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Heroin WITS. Daley was placed on a $10,000 dollar cash-surety bond and will appear at Danielson Superior Court on 11/09/16 for the above charges.
