Killingly Woman Arrested For Possession of Fentanyl and Crack During Normal Traffic Stop

On Monday, 06/24/2019 at approximately 8:17 pm, members of the Troop D – Quality of Life Task Force stopped a vehicle on Route 12 near route 205 in Wauregan for Misuse of Plates, Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Unregistered Motor Vehicle. Troopers approached the car and identified the driver as 24 year old Brittany Dauphinais of Killingly. While interviewing Dauphinais, she admitted to having fentanyl and crack cocaine. QLTF Troopers subsequently seized 4 grams of fentanyl as well as an amount of crack cocaine. Dauphinais was transported to Troop D where she was processed and charged with Possession of Narcotics, Misuse of Plates, Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Unregistered Motor Vehicle. Dauphinais was released on a $10,000 bond and is to appear in Danielson Superior Court on 07/09/2019.
