KILLINGLY RESIDENT TROOPERS MAKE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ARREST

On 08/29/2018 a Killingly Resident Trooper investigated the report of an domestic violence incident. The investigation revealed that 34 year old Michael Poirier was harassing the victim via text message. The investigation further revealed that Poirier caused a disturbance in front of a child, which resulted in Michael driving away with the victim half inside his vehicle. Poirier was ultimately arrested and charged with: Breach of Peace, Harassment 2nd Degree, Impairing Morals of Children, and 1st degree Reckless Endangerment. Poirier was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Danielson Superior Court 08/30/2018 at 9 AM.
