Killingly Resident Trooper Arrests Woman During Normal Traffic Stop Due to Re-Arrest Warrant

On 01/04/2019 at approximately 1806 hours a traffic stop was initiated by a Killingly Resident Trooper. During the on scene investigation it was determined that the vehicle did not have insurance and its registration was suspended. Furthermore, the operator who was identified as 34 year old Cassie Sies held a suspended driver’s license and an active re-arrest warrant due to a failure to appear, as Sies was arrested back on November 8, 2018 by Putnam Police As a result SIES was placed under arrest, transported to Troop D and charged with:
Operating Under Suspension / License Operating Under Suspension / Registration Operating Motor vehicle without Insurance Failure to Appear 2nd Degree SIES was released on a $2,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear at Danielson Court on 01/18/2019 at 9:00 AM.
