Killingly Resident Trooper and Off Duty Trooper Arrest One in Residential Burglary

Monday at approximately 4:30 PM, Troopers assigned to the Killingly Resident Troopers Office were dispatched to an address in Killingly to investigate a residential burglary. During the course of the investigation, Troopers developed a possible suspect based off information provided by an off-duty Trooper who arrived on scene to assist with the investigation. Troopers responded to an address on North Street in Danielson and located the suspect hiding in a closet. The suspect, identified as 36 Year Old Donald Moore, was found to have an active arrest warrant from the Connecticut Department of Corrections. Troopers also found over 100 items of evidence linking Moore to the burglary and possibly other burglaries in Killingly. Killingly Resident Troopers arrested Moore on the strength of the arrest warrant as well as interfering with a police officer, burglary in the 3rd degree, larceny in the 3rd degree and criminal mischief 2nd degree. This investigation is ongoing and more arrests are anticipated.
