Juvenile Overheard Making School Threat Leads To Investigation

On Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 10 PM, State Troopers from Troop K in Colchester were dispatched to a suspicious incident involving a verbal threat made against RHAM Middle School, which occurred during lunch on Monday, February 26th. Three witnesses overheard a juvenile male student make a threat against the school. An investigation was conducted and through the course of the investigation, the student was located and issued a juvenile misdemeanor summons. The juvenile was charged with Breach of Peace and 2nd degree Threatening. The young male was issued a court date at Willimantic Juvenile Court and then released to the custody of his guardian.
