Investigation Leads to Narcotics and Weapons Seizure

“Upon the conclusion of a 6 month narcotics investigation, detectives, troopers, and police officers assigned to the Statewide Narcotics Task Force (SNTF) – Southwest Office executed Search and Seizure Warrants at El Mismo Primo Convenience store and Kate’s Convenience store in Bridgeport. Through the course of the investigation the SNTF developed information leading to the application of the Search and Seizure, and Arrest Warrants by the superior court. SNTF investigators seized 2,212 grams (over 4.5 pounds or 2 kilos) of cocaine, a sawed-off shotgun, and approximately $15,460.00 in cash.

Arrested: 1. Leo Rivera, aka Robert Paula, (dob 5/21/75) of Bridgeport was charged with 2 counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and 2 counts of conspiracy. He was held on $150,000.00 bond. 2. Yearli “pretty boy” Rodriguez (dob 10/20/87) of Bridgeport was charged with 14 counts of Illegal Sale of Controlled Substance and 4 counts of Conspiracy. He was held on $500,000.00 bond. 3. Nancy Medina (dob 12/11/79) of Bridgeport was charged with Illegal Possession of Narcotics and Failure to Keep Narcotics in Original Container. She was released after posting $25,000.00 bond. 4. Alvaro Ozuna (dob 8/28/87) of Bridgeport was charged with 2 counts of Illegal Sale of Controlled Substance. He was held on $150,000.00 bond. 5. Wilberto Colon (dob 9/8/93) of Seymour was charged with Operating a Drug Factory, 2 counts of Possession with Intent to Sell, Distribution of Controlled Substances w/i 1500′ of school, and Possession of a Sawed-Off Shotgun. He was held on $250,000.00 bond. 6. Katherine Peralta-Delrosario (dob 9/25/92) of Seymour was charged with Operating a Drug Factory, 2 counts of Possession with Intent to Sell, Distribution of Controlled Substances w/i 1500′ of school, and Possession of a Sawed-Off Shotgun. She was held on $250,000.00 bond.”
