HS Softball: Wolverines Launch 20 Hit Attack to Rout Woodstock Academy

The Lady Wolverines stay undefeated after their contest with the Lady Centaurs of Woodstock Academy on Saturday winning big,,,,again… 16-0.  The offense was led by Brooke Rainville who had a 4-5 day as well as Kamrun Gurnee going 4-4.  Shay Sauvageau continued with steady at bats having a 2-4 day with 4 RBI’s and a home run.

The heat continues to come from the mound as Maya Waldron and Julia Janca paired up for a one hit shutout.  The only hit that Woodstock Academy was able to get was off of Janca in the 4th.  Waldron had 4 k’s in 3 innings and Janca had 5 her innings of pitching.

According to Max Preps, Griswold is now the #1 ranked High School Softball team in the state of Connecticut and #110 Nationally.
