Heroin Search Warrant ends in arrest of Thompson Man

On 07/13/2016 at approximately 6:00 pm, members of the Troop-D Quality of Life Task Force, the Statewide Narcotics Task Force-East Office, and personnel assigned to the Troop D “Danielson Barracks” executed a narcotics related search and seizure warrant at #13 Ravenelle Street, Thompson, CT. The search warrant was obtained after an investigation revealed that Lance Garcia (DOB: 07/02/1988) was selling heroin from his residence. When entry was made into the residence, Lance Garcia and several other people were located in the house. A systematic search was then conducted of the house and numerous bags of heroin pre-packaged for sale, cash, Suboxone pills and cutting agents were located and seized. As a result of the search warrant, Lance Garcia was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Heroin WITS. Lance Garcia was transported to the Troop D Danielson barracks where he was processed and held on a 25,000 cash/surety bond and is to appear in Danielson Superior Court on 07/27/16 for the above charges.
