Connecticut Right to Life’s political arm (CRLC PAC) announced its endorsement for Tracey Hanson who is running for state representative in the 45th State Representative district. The district covers Griswold, Lisbon, Plainfield, Sterling and Voluntown. The endorsements are based on recent surveys distributed to candidates. Hanson is running on the Democratic and Working Families Party lines on November 8th in an open seat.
O’Brien says that the pro-life group is focused on building healthy family relationships. “Voters can be assured that these candidates support common-sense legislation that promote the health and safety of women and children, support more abortion alternatives, and restrict the use of taxpayer dollars for abortions.” He says the group’s agenda reflects the political climate in Connecticut. “These issues are ones that most Connecticut voters support – including many residents who self identify as pro-choice.” The organization continues to educate voters and legislators on how to protect the life of every human being from conception until natural death.
