Growth Continues For Jewett City Savings Bank

JEWETT CITY, CONNECTICUT, July 28, 2020… Jewett City Savings Bank has announced the opening of a new branch located in Riverfront Commons on Kennedy Drive in Putnam. The 1500-square foot office, which will open in late summer 2020, features full-service personal and business banking along with a 24-hour walk-up ATM and night depository.
The branch staff will be led by Branch Manager Amanda Heibel and Branch Supervisor Celina Shippee who together, bring 17 years of experience in retail banking to their new roles. Heibel, who joined Jewett City Savings Bank in 2008, has served in various customer service roles, most recently as assistant branch manager of the Bank’s main office in Jewett City. Shippee, who joined the Bank in 2015, most recently served as branch supervisor of the Bank’s Brooklyn branch.
