Following an investigation, it was determined that a 2006 Ford F-150 being operated by 55 year old Rodrigo Sagun of Groton was traveling eastbound in the area of 159 Kate Downing Road when the vehicle lost control going around the curve and went off the roadway into a utility pole which ultimately caused the vehicle to roll onto its driver side.
