Tomorrow is the day of the referendum in the town of Griswold where residents will get to vote on whether or not the town would appropriate $114,500 for the development of a new senior center. The polls will be open from 6 AM to 8 PM tomorrow at the Griswold and Pachaug Town halls.
The town already has funds bonded from 2011 to go towards the planning and building of a new senior center. To receive the money, Griswold must match 33% of the original bond. If the town does not do so, the original bonded amount of $343,000 will no longer be available to the town.
