Griswold Elementary Names New Assistant Principal

Griswold Public Schools has announced that they have hired Ms. Jacqueline Love as their new Assistant Principal at GES. Love started her career in education with Norwich Public Schools in 2006 teaching 5th grade. In 2013 she took on a new role as Instructional Specialist / Assistant Principal at the Stanton Network School in Norwich. Love has earned a reputation as being a focused compassionate leader who always the best interest of her students in mind.
Norwich Superintendent, Abby Dolliver stated that Ms. Love is “strong with instruction” and a tireless advocate of kids. Principal Billie Shea said in her recommendation that Ms. Love “ensures that everyone has a voice and is an integral part of any decision-making process.” Teachers, parents, administrators, and Board of Education members involved with committee interviews were impressed with Ms. Love’s emphasis on shared, compassionate leadership.
Ms. Love holds a B.S. in Communications from Eastern Connecticut State University; and a 6th Year Certificate in Administrative Leadership, which includes the 092 Certification, from Sacred Heart University. Ms. Love and her family live in Norwich, CT.
