The Griswold Wolverines got back to their winning ways on Friday by defeating Lyman Memorial, 74-51.  This is the first time the Wolverines have beat the Bulldogs since February 16, 2016 by the score of 63-62.

Nick Gileau led the Wolverines on Friday with 20 points.  CJ Mattson, who normally comes off the bench for Coach Mileski, started in this contest due to Chris Roddy being out because of a concussion that he suffered in a game earlier in the week against Stonington.  Mileski said of Mattson before the game that this was “A Great Opportunity for him” Mattson was certainly up to the challenge, sinking in 4 3pointers and a total of 14 points overall.  Pharoh Curtis had fifteen points for the Wolverines, and Matt Dembinski added six rebounds.
