Graeme Everson, Bruce Prescott, and Earl Rosebrooks Elected Corporators of Jewett City Savings Bank

JEWETT CITY, CONNECTICUT, October 1, 2020… Following its 147th Annual Meeting of
Corporators held virtually on August 19, 2020, Jewett City Savings Bank announced the election of
Graeme Everson, Bruce Prescott, and Earl Rosebrooks as new Corporators.
A resident of Moosup and an active and respected member of the business community, Graeme
Everson has been the owner and operator of Mercer Monument Works in Plainfield since 2012. Graeme
has dedicated his life to serving others as a veteran of the Connecticut National Guard and through his
dedication to the local community. He has served on the board of Moosup Little League and as
chairman of the Sterling Inlands Wetland Commission. Along with his wife, Kristin, he has also helped
organize the Mercer Toy Drive to provide holiday gifts to at-risk children in foster care.
A successful entrepreneur and businessman, Westerly resident Bruce Prescott is the owner of Zoe &
Company, Professional Bra Fitters, and several investment properties. He actively supports Chambers of
Commerce and downtown business associations in Westerly and in Massachusetts and New Hampshire,
where his company has locations. An involved member of the community, he helped support the
ATHENA Scholarship program for youths and was awarded a Pawcatuck Good Neighbor Award for
his long-term dedication to the “Weekender Backpack” food program for children.
The owner and General Manager of Fluid Coating Technology, Inc., in Putnam for two decades, Earl
Rosebrooks is an active and esteemed member of northeastern Connecticut’s business community. The
North Grosvenordale resident was inducted into the 1952 Society of the Arc of Quinebaug Valley and
was a recipient of the 2017 Paul Harris Fellow Award from The Rotary Foundation of Rotary
International. Most recently, he was honored as the 2020 recipient of the Business Leader of the Year
award from the Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.
