Fugitive From Justice Arrested in Killingly

The Troop D-Danielson Quality of Life Task Force assisted the United States Marshal’s Service in serving a Fugitive from Justice arrest warrant that held federal charges. On June 9, 2016 at approximately 6:30 am, members from the United States Marshal’s Service, members of the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force and patrol Troopers from Troop D went to 36 Paradise Drive in an effort to locate Steven Case (07/06/1989) of 5 Vale Street, Lewiston, ME. Case, who held a Federal felony arrest warrant out of the State of Maine, was believed to be at the Killingly address. Police personnel located Steven Case on the property and took him into custody without incident. U.S. Marshal’s took custody of Case and will be charging him on the Federal level. While on scene, troopers located Edward Branciforte (6/2/1986) of 36 Paradise Drive, Brooklyn. Branciforte held a felony extraditable arrest warrant out of the State of Florida. Troopers placed Branciforte under arrest without incident and transported him back to Troop D where he was processed and held on a $75,000 cash/surety bond.

Charges: Fugitive from Justice

Bond: $75,000 cash/surety
