Four Arrested in Plainfield Narcotics Arrest

On January 13, 2017 at approximately 12:35 p.m., members of the Plainfield Police Department conducted a narcotics related search and seizure warrant at the residence of 4 Sixth Street, Plainfield, CT 06374 following a lengthy investigation into the sales of narcotics at the above residence.

While executing the search and seizure warrant a seven year old juvenile was found to be in the residence. As a result of the execution of the search and seizure warrant, the Plainfield Police Department arrested Stephan E. Valcin (age 30) of 4 Sixth Street, Plainfield, Connecticut for possession of narcotics (cocaine), possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics within 1500’ of a school, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1500’ of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, and risk of injury to a minor. James W. Wells IV (age 31) of 4 Sixth Street, Plainfield, Connecticut for possession of narcotics (heroin), destruction of property during the execution of a search warrant, and risk of injury to a minor. Crystal L. Tworzydlo (age 33) of 4 Sixth Street, Plainfield, Connecticut for possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance, and risk of injury to a minor. All three were placed on $20,000 bonds and are scheduled to appear at the Danielson Superior Court on January 30, 2017.

As members of the Plainfield Police Department conducted a systematic search of the apartment an individual known to investigators to be involved in narcotics drove past the residence. The individual was identified as David P. Colon (age 39) of 2 Eighth Street, Plainfield, Connecticut. Colon was found to be in possession of 6 grams of crack cocaine and charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Colon was placed on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at the Danielson Superior Court on January 30, 2017. A passenger in the car, Ryan S. Studley (age 31), was also taken into custody for three counts of failure to appear. One of which stemmed from a prior narcotics arrest. Studley was placed on a $10,000 court set bond and is scheduled to appear at the Danielson Superior Court on January 17, 2017.
