Fire, Police, and Ambulance Respond to Two Car Accident In Moosup

On May 12, 2020 at approximately 1:10 PM, Officers from the Plainfield Police Department along with the Moosup Fire Department, and American Legion Ambulance responded to a two-car motor vehicle crash on Prospect Street in Plainfield, Connecticut.
A 2014 Jeep Patriot being operated by Lynda Siefert, 49, of Moosup was traveling westbound on Prospect Street when it struck a 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage being operated by Kaleigh Petitt, 27, of Plainfield which was traveling off of the Interstate 395 southbound off-ramp and attempting to turn left onto East Main Street.
Seifert, Petitt, and a juvenile passenger in Petitt’s vehicle were subsequently transported to the Plainfield Backus Emergency Center via American Legion Ambulance for treatment of suspected minor injuries associated with this crash.
This crash remains under investigation by the Plainfield Police Department. Any witnesses or individuals with information pertinent to the crash are respectfully asked to contact Officer Gage Griffin at the Plainfield Police Department.
