Early Morning Killingly Crash Averted, Drug Related

AR-160809672.jpg&MaxW=315&MaxH=315 Erik Ladoucer, 38, of Mason Hill Rd in Dayville, was charged with driving under the influence after almost causing a crash while high on ketamine. Police observed Ladoucer nearly collide head-on with an oncoming motorist at 4:42 a.m. Wednesday morning. Police stopped Ladoucers’ vehicle and found him to be highly impaired. They discovered hypodermic needles and a crystal rock-like substance believed to be katamine, referred to as “Special K” in the his car.

Ladoucer was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to drive in a proper lane.

He is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on August 16.
