Drive Thru Snowflake Parade Postponed Until Sunday

According to Ryan Aubin, the annual Snowflake Parade that was to take place at Hopeville State Park is going to be postponed one day from Saturday December 5, until Sunday December 6.

The parade is obviously structured different this year due to the pandemic as residents will “drive Thru” Hopeville Campground to see floats and exhibits.  It’s a free event to the public, and you don’t even have to get out of your car.

Cars will be able to drive thru starting at 6 PM until 8 PM.  Although they event is free, the Rec department is asking if you would please bring canned goods and/or non perishable foods to donate to the Food Pantry!

When asked why the move to Sunday, Aubin said, “There’s a chance for snow, and snow is fun!”
