On 12/18/2015 at approximately 11:05 AM, members of the Plainfield Police Department arrested two individuals involved in the theft of two dirt bikes from Nasin’s Machine Shop located at 345 North Main Street in Moosup. Devin Collelo, age 18, and Mark Parker, age 19, both of 189 Goshen Road, Moosup CT broke into a local business on 11/21/2015 using bolt cutters and stole a YZ 450F dirt bike and JVS 110 dirt bike. The two drove the dirt bikes back home on the roadway and they were observed doing so on video surveillance from surrounding businesses that was later obtained by Officers. Both Devin and Mark were located on the dirt bikes in the village of Wauregan where they were riding for several hours on the roadway. The dirt bikes have been recovered after they were vandalized in an attempt to conceal their original appearance in the hope that others wouldn’t recognize them. They are in the process of being returned to the owner. Both were arrested by warrant and charged with Burglary 3rd, Larceny 3rd, and Criminal Mischief 2nd and they will appear at the Danielson Superior Court GA-11 for their court proceedings on 01/04/2016.
