WETHERSFIELD, May 20, 2018 – The Connecticut Department of Labor’s career fair series continues its spring schedule with the Middlesex County Career Fair to be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 18 at Cromwell’s Red Lion Hotel, 100 Berlin Road. The event is co-sponsored by the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce and Workforce Alliance.
“More than 50 companies are expected to attend and will have representatives available to speak one-on-one with attendees about openings with their companies, with employment opportunities ranging from entry-level to management positions,” notes State Labor Commissioner Kurt Westby.
The Middlesex County Career Fair, he adds, offers employers an excellent forum for recruiting the skilled workforce they need, while job seekers will have many opportunities to network and meet with a large number of employers all in one central area.
Employer registration fee is $300 ($25 additional if an electrical outlet is needed) which includes a skirted table, company sign, program guide listing, boxed lunch, and radio, newspaper and Internet advertising. Companies already signed up to attend include Aaron Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, CT Transit, ECHN, Holo Krome and the U.S. Postal Service.
Online employer registration and a list of participating companies can be found on the Labor Department’s career fair website: www.ctjobfairs.com. Individuals can also contact Danielle Aletta at Danielle@middlesexchamber.com or (860) 347-6924.
