Danielson Narcotics Arrest

“On 03/13/2017 at approximately 8:40 pm, members of the Troop D – Quality of Life Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a 2000 Mazda Protege for a traffic violation. The traffic stop occurred on Reynolds Street near the intersection of Broad Street in Danielson, CT. QLTF Troopers were patrolling Reynolds Street in response to increased complaints of heroin use/dealing in the area. The driver, identified as Jose Pedraza (H/M 04/13/1955) of #51 Reynolds Street, Danielson granted Troopers consent to search the car. A search of the car was conducted and multiple bags of heroin were located and seized. Pedraza was then arrested without incident and transported to the Troop D – Danielson Barracks and charged with Possession of Heroin 21a-279(A). Pedraza was released on a $5,000 cash/surety bond and is to appear in Danielson Superior Court on 03/30/17.
