On 09/26/2018 at approximately 11 pm, Troop D Troopers responded to a disturbance at a residence in Danielson for a report of a domestic violence incident. The victim called 911 to report her former boyfriend, whom she had a protective order against, was trying to gain entry into her home by ripping out her air conditioner. Troopers arrived on scene within moments and found 30 year old Joey Garcia standing outside the victim’s home highly intoxicated. An investigation revealed that Garcia had violated a “no contact” protective order and had caused a disturbance at the victim’s house by trying to pull out an air conditioner. Garcia was placed under arrest and brought to Troop D where he was charged with Violation of a Protective Order and Disorderly Conduct. Garcia was held on a $5,000 cash/surety bond and appeared in Danielson court on 09/27/2018.
