Danielson Man Arrested For Driving Intoxicated and also the Wrong Way on I-395

Early Saturday morning at approximately 3:15 AM, Troop D troopers were dispatch to I-395 northbound near exit 38 in Killingly for a vehicle driving the wrong way on the highway. Troopers were able to bring the vehicle to a safe stop. The operator of the vehicle exhibited signs of intoxication and failed sobriety tests. During the course of the arrest, State Troopers located a .45 caliber semi automatic pistol and two fully loaded magazines. The driver, 31 Year Old Brent Walker of Danielson was arrested and transported back to Troop D. Walker was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, driving the wrong way on a divided highway, reckless endangerment in the second degree and carrying a dangerous weapon. Walker was placed on a $2500 cash/surety bond and will appear in Danielson Superior Court on April 26.
