Danielson Man Arrested After Attempting To Outrun Troopers Following A Disturbance

(Danielson) – On 01/24/2018 at approximately 6:45 pm, Troop D Troopers were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence in Danielson. The disturbance was reportedly between a female victim and a male later identified as 31 year old Kevin Horton. When the State Police were contacted, Horton fled the residence on foot. Troopers located Horton on Main Street in Danielson and attempted to stop him for questioning. Horton took off on foot to an adjacent railroad and attempted to out run Troopers without success. Horton was located on the railroad tracks, hiding in the bushes. When Troopers approached Horton, he attempted to flee on foot a second time. Horton was quickly captured and placed under arrest. A subsequent investigation revealed that a disturbance took place between Horton and the female victim. Horton was transported to Troop D where he was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Interfering with an Investigation. Horton was held on a $5,000.00 cash / surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Danielson Court on 01/25/2018 at 9 am.
