According to Wallethub.com, Connecticut is the 7th highest drug use state. This report was done by comparing 15  key metrics in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Some of those metrics include, “arrest and overdose rates to opioid prescriptions and meth-lab incidents per capita.” While Connecticut is number 7 overall, it’s also number 1 for “Most People Receiving Substance Abuse Treatment per 100,000 Drug Users.” The 15 key metrics were sub-categorized under these three key points: Drug Use and Addiction, Law Enforcement (arrests, etc), and Drug Health Issues and Rehab.
