Hospitalizations in Connecticut have been falling over the last week and on Friday, the largest single day drop in people being admitted into the hospital (70) is being reported. Fairfield, Hartford, and New Haven counties had the largest in reduction which only means that more people are going home than going into the hospital. However, New London and Windham counties were up +2 admissions each.
Although it’s a sprig of hope with the lessening of people being admitted, Connecticut still reported the loss of yet another 125 residents to COVID-19 related deaths. New London County is at a total of 23 deaths and Windham county, 3. The state has lost a total of 1764 since the pandemic began.
