COVID-19 Continues To Spike In Connecticut

Connecticut reported 22 new hospitalizations today, bringing the current total to 217 total in Connecticut hospitals with the virus.  The state also reported 5 additional covid-19 related deaths.  The total amount has now risen to 4559 in Connecticut.

Today is also one of the highest days since summer as far as percentage is concerned with a 3% positivity rate (434 positive/14653 tests reported).

New London County has 24 people in the hospital, up 4 from yesterday.  Again, the largest spikes are in Hartford and New Haven Counties.

As far as travel advisories, the same metrics are in place and the state has one of the lowest rates of the 38 states on the national list.  A state is put on the list if there are 10 residents that test positive per 100,000 residents.
