Connecticut State Troopers and DEEP Combine To Assist Wrong Way Driver

On Sunday, April 26, Connecticut State Police along with the assistance of a DEEP Conservation officer were able to stop a car entering the wrong way on the Gold Star Bridge on I-95 in Groton. The driver, and 81 year old Ledyard man was able to be pulled over without incident and was picked up by his daughter at the scene.
The 81 year old’s license was taken from him by Troopers pending a DMV driver’s test.
