Cocaine, Cash, and Live Grenades Seized in Norwich Drug Bust

The Norwich Police Department served an active drug search and seizure warrant at 52 Laurel Hill Ave., Norwich, CT on August 8, 2019. During the service of that warrant, Norwich Police Detectives seized a large quantity of cocaine and money. While searching the residence, Detectives discovered suspected live military ordnance hidden within the household. After evacuating the premises, assistance was given by the CT State Police Bomb Squad Unit, who in turn responded and safely removed the ordnance from the residence. The names of the suspects involved are not being released at this time as this investigation is ongoing.
