Central Village Accident Sends One To The Hospital

On August 3, 2018 at approximately 10:43 A.M., Officers from the Plainfield Police Department, along with Central Village Fire Department and American Legion Ambulance responded to a crash involving a two motor vehicles with minor injuries at the intersection of Cornell Road and Black Hill Road, in the Central Village section of Plainfield, Connecticut.

Edgar Muniz, 72, of Central Village was traveling northbound, in a 2010 Chevy Camaro, on Exley Rd. crossing Black Hill Road when he was struck by another vehicle, a 2006 Ford Expedition, which was operated by Amanda Price, 36, of Canterbury. Muniz was transported to Backus Emergency Care Center in Plainfield to be treated for minor injuries.

This accident is still under investigation.
