Car Crash Injurers Windham Teen

This morning in Windham, police were called to the scene of a one car crash. The driver was identified as 18 year-old Shania Slyman. It is reported by WTNH that Slyman was traveling westbound on Plains Rd. The vehicle she was driving went off the road on the right side and into a snow bank. Slyman’s car then traveled back into the westbound lane of Plains Rd, hitting a second snowbank. After hitting two snowbanks Slyman’s car continued traveling westbound onto the driveway at 338 Plains Road. The vehicle continued further onto the property and struck a tree. WTNH reported that Slyman was ejected from the vehicle and the vehicle rolled onto its roof. Slyman is being treated for serious injuries at Hartford Hospital.
