Canterbury Bank Robbed For The Second Time This Year

​Canterbury, CT. (November, 2017): On November 22, 2017 at approximately 12:00 p.m., personnel from Troop D responded to the Savings Institute Bank located at 180 Route 14 in Canterbury for a bank robbery. It was reported that the bank had been robbed by a lone white male who displayed a weapon.

​The suspect was described as a white male approximately 6’ in height and thin build. He was reported to be wearing blue jeans and a navy colored jacket with a hood. The suspect then left the store in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported during this incident.
