Budget Outrage Regarding Possible Community Pool Closing In Plainfield Due To Budget Cuts

The Town of Plainfield has many residents upset and downright angry concerning the latest budget proposal for their next fiscal year.  Funding for the July 4th Fireworks, Rate hikes expected at the towns Day care, and the closing of the community pool at Town Hall in June are all cuts in the budget.  The savings from the pool alone is approximately $300,000…  There will be a special hearing on the budget at Town Hall this Wednesday at town hall where residents can voice their concerns.  The hearing will start at 7pm
