Bolton Gulf Attempted Robbery (Suspect Pic Included)

Boltongulf1 On December 13, 2015 at approximately 9:55 p.m., Troopers from Troop K-Colchester were dispatched to Bolton Gulf located at 262 Boston Turnpike in Bolton for a reported armed robbery.

Upon arrival Troopers secured the scene, searched the area for the suspect, and initiated an investigation.  Troopers learned that a female suspect entered the Bolton Gulf, confronted the clerk with a switchblade knife, and demanded the clerk give her the money from the register.

The female suspect moved toward the clerk and climbed on top of the sales counter.  The clerk immediately retrieved his legally registered firearm, at which time the female suspect quickly climbed down from the counter and exited the store.   No shots were fired, no injuries were reported. There was no merchandise or cash taken.

State Police Detectives from Eastern District Major Crime (EDMC) responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.

The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 5’4” tall with a thin build. The female suspect was wearing a dark colored coat, camouflage-style pants, a blue scarf, and a green Boonie hat/fishing-type cap.  The knife is described as a switchblade with a white colored handle.
