Another Wrong Way Driver Arrested on Connecticut Roadways

On November 28, 2019, at approximately 2:00 AM, Troopers received several 9-1-1 calls regarding a wrong-way driver traveling westbound on the eastbound lanes of Route 2A in the Town of Montville. Troopers in the area immediately responded to that location to saturate the area.
Troopers from Troop E in Montville were then able to observe the vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-395 near Exit 13 in the City of Norwich. Troopers were then able to safely get the vehicle stopped on the highway.
Troopers were able to determine the accused was operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and was placed under arrest. The accused was charged with:
Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs Reckless Driving Driving the Wrong Way on a Divided Highway Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree
The accused was held on a $5,000 bond pending his arraignment on Friday, November 29, at the Norwich Superior Court.
