Another Late Night Car Accident on Starkweather in Plainfield Sends Three to Hospital

On November 10, 2017 at approximately 1:12 A.M., members of the Plainfield Police Department, along with medical and fire personnel responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle crash on Starkweather Road.
Upon arrival it was determined by officers that a Green 1996 Lexus LS 400 operated by 32 year old David Lyons Jr. was traveling North on Starkweather Road when it veered off the roadway to the right. The vehicle then traveled through a lawn colliding with a rock wall and wooden shed before coming to a final uncontrolled rest overturned on its roof.
Lyons along with 24 year old Geselle Despatie, a passenger were transported to Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT for suspected minor injuries. 32 year old Brittany Kaeppel, also a passenger was transported to Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT for suspected minor injuries and 32 year old Brannon Gooslin, a third passenger refused medical attention on scene.
This crash remains under investigation.
