Another Arrested in Plainfield Firearm Theft

On July 17, 2018, Detectives from the Plainfield Police Department Special Investigations Unit, arrested the accused 30 year old Kenneth Bingell of North Grosvenordale, CT, at the Danielson Superior Court on multiple charges.
On January 17, 2018 Bingell along with two other individuals entered a residence located in the Moosup section of Plainfield and stole two firearms along with jewelry.
On January 24, 2018 Bingell with two other individuals forced entry into the same residence and stole a safe containing an additional firearm, jewelry and silver coins.
Bingell was arraigned on July 17, 2018 and has been charged with the following:
Throughout investigation, Detectives from the Plainfield Police Department, working along Norwich Police Department Detectives, were able to recover two of the firearms. This case remains under investigation and more arrests are pending.
