Another Arrest Made in Conjunction with Plainfield MotorSports Nation Cycle Thefts

On March 22, 2017 at approximately 1:48am, members of the Plainfield Police Department arrested the accused Jordan A, Lanphear (Age 21) who had an Arrest Warrant for his involvement in the theft of 3 motorcycles from Motor Sports Nation. The theft of these motorcycles occurred in the morning hours of May 23, 2016.

Throughout the investigation, it was discovered that Lanphear along with Jonathan Zadora (Age 25) and Mariah Ellison (age 24), broke into the Motor Sports Nation’s service department and stole 3 dirt-bike type motorcycles. Lanphear, Zadora and Ellison were also involved in the theft of 2 motorcycles from a residence on Weston Road, Plainfield just weeks prior to this incident. Officers were able to recover 2 of the 3 motorcycles that were stolen from Motor Sports Nation. The motorcycle that has not been recovered at this time was described as a 2016 KTM 350 SXF black and orange in colors. Lanphear was the last suspect to be arrested in this case and all 3 suspects are currently facing charges at the Danielson Superior Court.

Lanphear was later charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, (3 counts) of Larceny 3rd, and was held on a $15,000 cash/surety bond pending his arraignment at the Danielson Superior Court on March 22, 2017.
