Another Arrest Made In Attempted Robbery of a Juvenile Walking Home From School

On 08/20/17 at approximately 9:56 AM the Plainfield Police Department arrested Mary DeJesse (age 19) of Eastford, CT on an arrest warrant stemming from an incident that occurred on 06/12/17 in the Town of Plainfield. DeJesse was located in Thompson, CT by the Connecticut State Police and subsequently turned over to the Plainfield Police Department. This arrest and three others were the result of a lengthy investigation into a robbery attempt of a juvenile that was walking home from Plainfield High School on 06/12/17. As previously reported two juveniles were arrested on 07/20/17 and Deontae Alston (Age 18) of Brooklyn, CT was also arrested 08/16/17 on a warrant relating to the incident.
DeJesse was charged with CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT ASSAULT 3RD DEGREE, BREACH OF PEACE AND RISK OF INJURY TO A MINOR (3 counts). She was released on a 10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on 09/05/17.
The man pictured in the post was the first arrest in this case, 18 year old Deontae Alston.
