After Foot Pursuit Plainfield Police Apprehend Plainfield Man With Multiple Outstanding Charges

On October 20, 2017 at approximately 9:35 P.M., the Plainfield Police Department arrested Ryan Johnson, 31, of 7 Canterbury Rd., Plainfield, CT.
Two Officers of the Plainfield Police Department conducted a wanted person check at 7 Canterbury Rd. While attempting to make contact with Johnson he fled from Officers on foot out the back door of the residence in between neighboring houses.
After a short foot pursuit Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to the Plainfield Police Department to be processed.
Once at the Plainfield Police Department Johnson was charged with three counts of Violation of Probation, three counts of Failure to Appear 2nd Degree and Interfering with a Police Investigation.
Johnson is currently being held at the Plainfield Police Department on numerous bonds for a combined total of $73,000 and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Danielson Superior Court on 10/23/2017 at 8:30 A.M.
