Griswold kept the game close at halftime, trailing Lyman Memorial 18 to 16. The Wolverines never let the Bulldog’s gain a big lead. Lyman memorial led 27 to 24. Griswold showed great effort, but it was not enough. The Wolverines lost to the Bulldogs 43 to 39.
Although their season has ended, the Wolverines showed great potential and the ability to be competitive in the future. This year’s team had many young freshmen and sophomores that have now gained a great deal of varsity experience. That will only help them continue to develop and improve their skills as players for the Wolverines in the years to come.
