Plainfield Man Shot in Leg in Isolated Incident

On March 1, 2022 at approximately 1:09 p.m. members of the Plainfield Police Department responded to a reported gunshot wound at an address located on Squaw Rock Road in the Moosup section of Plainfield, Connecticut.

Upon arrival Officers made contact with a 65-year-old male who sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. The male was subsequently transported by American Legion Ambulance to the Day Kimball Hospital located in Putnam for treatment. No additional injuries were sustained. This is considered an isolated event with no threat to the community.
